Training as usual on Thursday this week – 6.30pm at the Rec.
Confirmation of the two tournaments has now been received – Friday 11th June and Friday 2nd July. Both will start in Highworth at approximately 6pm. Can those who have not yet replied let me know their availability as soon as possible?
The arrangements for the AGM have now been finalised and details are set out below.
As previously mentioned, all players (and coaches!) should come in their training t-shirts – the black Stanno ones. As the children will be using the equipment at PGL, no shin pads or shorts will be needed this year, so children should wear tracksuit-type trousers or trainers. Siblings (between the ages of 7 and 16) will be able to take part in the activities, assuming that they have been included in the numbers provided. Please let me know as soon as possible if there are any changes in the attendees.
Parents should enter through the side gate (opposite the moto-cross track) and take the first turning on the right (signposted STFC) to park on the grass parking area there. Everyone then needs to make their way past the tennis courts to the main reception area, where we will all meet to separate into groups for the AGM (adults) and games (children).
o The first hour will be spent with the adults in the Hotel building having the AGM whilst PGL staff entertain the kids with games.
o Activities will start at 3pm for the U12-U15s, whilst the U7-U11s will have their presentations.
o The groups will swap over at 4.30pm, with activities for the U7-U11s, whilst the U12-U15s will have their presentations.
o Refreshments will be available during the change-over period (approx 4.15-4.45pm).
o After that, everyone moves to the pavilion for a BBQ, where food and drinks will be on sale (6pm - 8pm). There will be a rota from 6pm for those parents that have offered to help serve (PGL staff should be doing the cooking).
