Sunday 5th April: U18 v Wootton Bassett Town

The final match was a tough game against a side pushing to secure second place in the table.  A great run and cross from Jack was put away by Jonny.  However a penalty before half time and a second half goal put Wootton Bassett in control, before a late breakway goal sealed the points as we pushed for an equaliser.

Sunday 28th April: U18 v FC Chippenham

After taking the lead, Chippenham came back to seal the points, in spite of the goals scored by Jonny and Jack.  However, overall it was another good team performance.

Thursday 18th April: U18 v Shrivenham & Watchfield

A first goal for Kieran was not enough, as Shrivenham came back to equalise before half time and then scored three more without reply in the second half.

Sunday 14th April: U18 v Stratton Youth

It was always going to be difficult with a number of late drop-outs, but the nine players showed a really good team spirit and never gave up.  Stratton were limited to two goals in the first half and added another after the break, before Will scored a great goal.  Stratton then secured the points as legs tired.

Sunday 3rd March: U18 v Hungerford Town

A great game and another good result against Hungerford, with James W scoring and Jonny getting two in a 3-3 draw.

Sunday 3rd February: U18 v Coleshill

A goal from Jack was the consolation in this game.

Sunday 13th January: U18 v FC Chippenham

I'm sure everyone would have taken a draw before kickoff but, although it was probably a fair result, it was disappointing to concede a last minute equaliser.  The whole team battled well throughout the match, preventing Chippenham from having any decent chances in the first half.  When Jonny cracked home an excellent strike midway through the second half, it looked as if we would pull off an unlikely win, before Chippenham's scrappy late equaliser.
